Recommended reading: Negro leagues' legacy begins with Foster, by MLB.com's Alyson Footer. (My favorite part - Rube Foster would fine players if they were tagged out standing; he wanted them to slide whenever possible.)
A tough loss for the Lugnuts last night on a Kean Wong squeeze in the 12th inning. Still, it's worth remembering that the game only went to extras because of Santiago Nessy's heroics in the bottom of the ninth.
