A poem from the baseball season

Never a Pothole When You Need One
While watching “The Kingdom” on the team bus,
returning to Lansing from Clinton, Iowa,
we hit a bump and the audio went out.
Now we’re rooting for our team of US commandos
to hold back on killing any dirty Muslim terrorists
until the next bump.
Muted vengeance is unsatisfying.
